2014 Annual Midwest Section Awards
On January 31, 2014, the Midwest Section hosted their 24th Annual Awards Banquet in Fort Worth, Texas. Nearly 100 planners and friends were in attendance to recognize planning projects and planning advocates from around the section. The Midwest Section would like to congratulate the following winners:

Honoring James Toal
James Toal, a Fort Worth planning and economic development expert who was instrumental in a wide array of local and statewide projects ranging from the Trinity River Vision master plan to playing a major role in the planning of redevelopment of downtown Fort Worth, passed away on December 22, 2013. James was one of the leaders of the planning profession in Texas and instrumental in Fort Worth being where it is today. The Midwest Section honored James at the Annual Awards Banquet with the Director's Visionary Award.
