Julianne Rankin, FAICP has announced her retirement. Congratulations! Message from Juli:
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
After 38 years with the City of McAllen, I will be retiring at the end of this month. So many of you have been mentors and an inspiration to me personally and in the planning profession, and I’ve truly appreciated your friendship. I’ve given considerable thought to this significant decision, and feel this is the right time to retire, to pursue other ventures and more time with my family. I will continue to be involved in APA and hope to participate more actively with AICP Fellows.

Carlos G. Espinoza y Sánchez, has joined Windrose Land Services Inc. as Project Manager for redevelopment and development regulations guidance. Carlos brings five years of experience and has worked for The Woodlands Township, City of Houston Planning Department and is a National APA School Ambassador.

Chance Sparks AICP, CNU-A has joined Freese and Nichols, Inc as a Project Manager based in San Marcos. Chance has more than 15 years of planning and management experience and has worked for the cities of Buda, San Marcos and Bulverde in Central Texas. He is known as a creative and innovative thinker who has led municipalities to award-winning initiatives. He is the President-Elect of the APA Texas Chapter.
Eleana Tuley has joined Freese and Nichols, Inc as a Project Planner and will be based in Freese and Nichols’ Dallas office. Wleana has more than six years of experience and has worked for Fort Worth, McKinney and Austin. She will be a key asset in development reviews and staff augmentation for clients. She serves as the Communications Coordinator for the Midwest Section of APA Texas Chapter.
