The Texas Public Health Association (TPHA) annual education conference is the only one of its kind in the state and specifically targets health authorities, directors of local health departments, public health districts, academia and the broader public health community.

The APATX North Central Section is hosting a virtual event on May 13th for recently certified planners to share their study tips with other section members looking to take the AICP exam this year. If you are registered to take the exam in May or just started the application process to become AICP certified, this event is for you! There will be a Q&A session, so come ready with questions.

The APA Texas Legislative and Advocacy Summit will be held virtually so there's no need to worry about travel or hotel reservations. It's been updated with new topics reflecting the experiences we've all had dealing with COVID-19 and the economic downturn. It will include reports on the Chapter's new research and strategy for improving support at the Legislature. And it will still include assistance so you can be involved in advocacy at the Capitol.
