APATX West Section Roadshow

The APA Texas Chapter has planned a Roadshow throughout the State, with the West Section being the first to host in El Paso, TX. Come join us to kickstart the Chapter's Roadshow, learn, and network with other planning professionals in the area.

The event will be held on July 11, 2025 at the Blue Flame Building (304 Texas Ave., El Paso, TX 79901) at 9:00 am, with 2 planned sessions and free lunch for attendees. A tour through the El Paso Streetcar facilities and route is planned for the afternoon, and free entrance to a baseball game of the El Paso Chihuahuas and mixer will be held in the evening. CM credits will be offered for qualifying events.

Planning sessions in the morning are to showcase the collaborative planning efforts along the Paso Del Norte Trail and the Mission Trail, two of the region's most iconic and historically significant pathways.

We are meeting at the Blue Flame Building (Center for Civic Engagement), 304 Texas Avenue, Floor 17, from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, we’ll gather in the lobby and head out for the Streetcar Tour, departing from the Mills & Kansas stop at 2:30 PM. The tour will include a ride through the route and a stop at the Streetcar facility.

After the tour, we will join at the Chihuahuas baseball game for our evening mixer. We are gathering at the Dog House (Tequila Cazadores Cantina, second level) inside the stadium. The game starts at 6:35 PM, and gates open an hour before. Tickets will be distributed during the course of the day.
